Wedding favours are an old Italian tradition in which the bride and groom present their guests with a small gift as a token of their appreciation for sharing their special day.
Traditionally 5 sugared almonds are given, one each to represent Health, Wealth, Fertility, Happiness and Long Life. Nowadays these are often substituted by various other confectionery such as chocolate dragees, love heart sweets or chocolate foiled hearts. |

Favour tags showing the names of the Bride and Groom, and the date of their wedding can also be added. |
